Soft tissue rheumatism
This is the term given to a wide range of conditions relating to muscles, tendons and ligaments – the soft tissues. They may occur in response to an injury, to overuse or even occur spontaneously. After making the correct diagnosis, treatments usually involve physical therapies and sometimes a cortisone injection.
